I General terms
- The purpose of the privacy policy of SIA RUMEX BALTICS (hereinafter - the Company) is to provide you with information about the purpose for which the Company obtains personal data, data volumes and data processing deadlines, data protection, as well as to inform you about your rights and obligations.
- When processing personal data, the company shall comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EK (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter - the Regulation), as well as other regulatory enactments in the field of privacy and personal data processing.

- Name, gender, date of birth, contact details, work experience, education (including courses and certificates), language skills, other information you wish to provide to the public - to ensure the running of the recruitment competition and to safeguard your legal interests as far as they are concerned with staff selection.

- Legal basis of the personal data processing performed by the Company.
- 1. Purpose of the processing of personal data - to ensure the conduct of the recruitment competition and to safeguard their legal interests as far as recruitment is concerned:
- The processing of your personal data as a tenderer is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation incumbent on the company (Article 6 (1) (c) of the Regulation; and Labour Law);
- Upon receipt of your application as a tenderer, the public has a legal interest in processing your application, evaluating the information provided in it, organizing a negotiation procedure, conducting negotiations and providing evidence that substantiates the legal course of the relevant process. In the event of a dispute, the information obtained during the selection process may be used to reflect the legal course of the process in question (Article 6 (1) (f) of the Regulation).
- The purpose of the processing of personal data is to fulfil a legal obligation incumbent on the company:
- The processing of your personal data is necessary for the company to be able to perform its functions and tasks delegated to it by regulatory enactments (Article 6 (1) (c) of the Regulation); Regulation, Personal Data Processing Law, etc.).
V Processing, protection and storage of personal data
- The company uses various technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data. Your personal data is stored securely and is accessible to a limited number of people, only authorized persons.
- The recipients of your personal data are the company and its authorized persons, yourself, processors, law enforcement or supervisory authorities, as well as the court in the cases and in accordance with the procedures specified in regulatory enactments.

- All information obtained during the recruitment competition, in whole or in part, will be kept for a maximum of two years for candidates for the post of employee in order to safeguard the company's legal interests. In case the company receives complaints about the specific personnel selection process, then all the information processed in the personnel selection process will be kept for as long as necessary for the specific process.
- All information in order to fulfil a legal obligation attributable to the company shall be kept for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing personal data in accordance with the applicable regulatory enactments.
- The following criteria shall be used to determine the period of storage of personal data:
- as long as you or the company can realize their legitimate interests in accordance with the procedures specified in external regulatory enactments.
- as long as one of the parties has a legal obligation to retain the data.
After the criteria mentioned in this paragraph are not applicable, your personal data is deleted or destroyed, or transferred to the state archives for storage in accordance with the requirements of regulatory enactments.
- You have the following rights:
- to receive information specified in regulatory enactments in connection with the processing of your personal data or restriction of processing, or the right to object to the processing (including the processing of personal data performed on the basis of the legitimate interests of the company). This right shall be exercised in so far as the processing of data does not result from the obligations of the company imposed on it by the laws and regulations in force and which are performed in the interests of the Company;
- to submit a request for the exercise of their rights in writing. Documents are accepted by the company using mail, electronic mail (documents signed with a secure electronic signature);
- receive your personal data which you have provided, and which is processed, in writing or in one of the most commonly used electronic formats.
- The Company will send the answer by post to your declared address of residence, to the e-mail address specified by you with a secure electronic signature, if you want to receive the answer electronically.
- The Company ensures the fulfilment of personal data processing and protection requirements in accordance with regulatory enactments. If you have a well-founded concern that the company is processing your personal data in a way that does not comply with the requirements of regulatory enactments, you have the right to apply to the court.
